Project Description:
The scope of work for this project includes the construction of proposed Route 17 Exit 125 access to the newly constructed Legoland NY amusement park. The project team constructed an overpass bridge and associated eastbound and westbound acceleration / deceleration ramps. The overpass bridge provided access between the newly constructed Westbound ramps and the Legoland park on the south side of Route 17. Westbound ramp construction included an approximate quarter-mile elevated stretch supported by pre-cast T-Walls. The project also included the widening of an existing box culvert under Route 17 to support the new eastbound and westbound ramps.
