Project Description:
For this Design-Build project, Yonkers partnered with HNTB to design the new Diverging Diamond interchange between Routes 17 and 32 located in Woodbury, New York. This will include a new bridge to carry Route 32 over Nininger Road, reconstruction of exit 131 off of Route 32, and the addition of new roundabouts to improve the flow of traffic around the Woodbury Common Outlets. Route 17 will be lowered to allow a higher clearance passing below Route 6 and Route 32. The bridge on Route 32 over Route 17 will be replaced, as well as, improvements to the Monroe-Woodbury Central High School.
On Point has created the Schedule of Operations for this project, beginning in the Winter of 2018 and concluding in the Spring of 2020.
